Meet Our Team Leaders
With experience as both a PR agency executive and as a client, John has learned how to make the big ideas and best practices world of PR agencies thrive within the budget and results driven world of corporate marketing. Beginning his PR career in entertainment and personality publicity, John was also recognized as a political strategist and campaign innovator before settling into high tech PR more than 20 years ago. John has spoken at PR industry events such as the PRSA International Conference, and often writes about media relations, PR metrics and social media.
Melissa leads the media relations and launch strategy practices at Audienci. Melissa has a long track record of leading award-winning comms teams for a diverse range of companies and technologies, and created successful media relations campaigns in challenging environments. Her work has earned her recognition from the Business Marketing Association, League of American Communications Professionals, Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and the Public Relations Society of America, among others.
John has worked closely with reporters, analysts and other influencers in securing PR results that move the needle on business objectives at companies ranging from boot-strapped start-ups to Fortune 100 heavyweights. John possesses an innate ability to understand even the most complex technologies. His varied technology background includes software, big-iron hardware, broadband, video technologies and services, and semiconductors. John is also the only Audienci team member who helped a client win a technology Emmy.
Maintaining agency operations in three states and working with clientele headquartered in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North and South America is the responsibility of Stacy Sidline, one of the co-founders of Audienci. Named the “Grammar Sheriff” by her Audienci colleagues, Stacy oversees Audienci’s editorial services, which reviews every client document before it is made public. Her corporate career began at Bain & Company in San Francisco. Before co-founding Audienci. Stacy managed curriculum development at Oracle's extensive College of Sales corporate training unit.
